Pools & Beaches

The hotel is flanked by several small, quiet beaches in the bay of Anse Bois de Rose. Prevailing winds and tides can cause a build-up of seaweed during certain times of the year, typically during the months of May to October. However, guests always have access to ample sun-bathing areas, large sand terraces with palm tree strung hammocks and sun loungers.
A complimentary private shuttle bus to Anse Lazio, one of the world’s most beautiful beaches, is offered several times per week to our guests.

Sport & Fitness

In case you still want a workout during your holiday, our gym with a lovely ocean view, is the perfect place to stay in shape.

We also offer free use of Stand-Up paddle boards (SUP) and canoes to our guests. Snorkelling equipment and bicycles are for hire at a charge. A giant chess board, with ocean views of course, is there to stimulate the mind.

Nature Trail

Complimentary guided nature walks are offered several times per week. Our local guide takes you on a walk through the tropical forest where you can discover the famous Coco der Mer palm, cinnamon and cashew trees, and vanilla plants just to name a few. You will learn many interesting facts about our flora and fauna. You could well see several endemic species: a majestic Seychelles Blue Pidgeon, a friendly Seychelles Bulbul, or a ridiculously large Seychelles Fruit Bat. If you are lucky enough you could spot a Black Parrot, a very rare endemic species only found on Praslin.

Diving & Excursions

There are several scuba diving centres based on Praslin – a lovely opportunity to experience the beauty of the underwater world. A day trip to the charming island of La Digue or to one of the other neighbouring islands, as well as deep-sea fishing can easily be arranged with one of our trusted partners. A visit to the Vallee de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a Garden of Eden like experience and not to be missed.
